Wood
Paulownia (Kiri)
It is the most popular wood. The trees mature and are cut down in about 15 years. It is highly effective in regulating humidity and repelling insects, and has been used as a box for important items since ancient times. In the summer, lye may be produced.
Falcata
Since it is whiter than paulownia and has a thinner grain, it is suitable for boxes with a Western-style image. It is often used as a substitute for paulownia, and is an inexpensive wood that is stable even in the summer. It is a very fast-growing, light, and soft wood native to Southeast Asia.
Cedar
We also deal in domestically produced white cedar wood. Although it costs more and takes longer to deliver, it is characterized by its unique aroma and beautiful grain. Some sizes are not available, so please contact us.
Grilling board
Baking cedar boards provides excellent durability, and the dark color creates an elegant image. It can be processed at a lower cost than painting. Please note that it is not possible to burn the sides or back of the board.
Shape
Inro lid (kagiyaro style)
Although it requires a high level of technical skill, it looks beautiful and is the most recommended shape. It is relatively inexpensive and is our most popular shape. Not suitable for boxes with low height.
Cover lid
The shape is covered with a lid that is a little larger than the main body, but it is expensive, but it is a high-class specification. Ideal for boxes with low height.
Lid with crosspiece
A shape that fits onto the main body with two crosspieces This is an inexpensive lid shape that is ideal for low-height boxes. A mounting lid without a crosspiece is cheaper, but the lid will shift, so you will need to secure it with string or wrapping paper to prevent it from moving.
Slide lid
It is a relatively inexpensive type of lid and has a lid shape that does not easily warp.
Drop lid
It is an inexpensive specification. It requires a finger hole and leaves that area open, so it is not suitable if you want a sealed box.

Processing
Name engraving
foil stamping
It can create a sense of luxury. You can choose gold or silver. Other colors can be selected if the lot is combined. Not suitable for very detailed designs.
branding iron
This process is unique to wooden boxes with a texture. Not suitable for very detailed designs.
silk printing
Even small details can be reproduced relatively cheaply. Printing colors can be specified in CMYK. Multi-color printing is not recommended as plate misalignment is likely to occur.
full color printing
Full-color printing is possible with a water-based inkjet printer, although it takes more cost and delivery time. For small lots.
Other processing
chamfer
Our standard specification is to just cut the corners, but chamfering as shown in the image is also possible.
Frog legs
A process in which decoration is applied to the upper sole and the foot part. It is used as a jubako for New Year's dishes.
string hole
You can make a string hole in the upper part of the bottom plate or under the bottom plate.

Urethane
Can be cut into a shape that matches the contents. They range from relatively solid and hard materials to soft materials. Compatible with small lots.
Suede urethane
By applying suede to urethane, you can create an even more luxurious feel. You can choose from a variety of suede colors. Suede cannot be pasted on the sides.
mount
It is possible to manufacture mounts that hold thin or thin items by making cuts or attaching rubber strings.
ball + satin
A stand is made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard and covered with satin cloth. Possible for lots of 1,000 or more.
Exterior/Outer
sleeve
A sleeve that wraps a wooden box in a cylindrical piece of cardboard or cardboard. Printing is also possible.
Outer case
You can also leave the manufacturing of the outer box for the wooden box to us.
Rolling paper/hanging paper
Small lots can be accommodated.

From relatively inexpensive strings to authentic Sanada strings. Various colors and elastic cords are also available. Small lots available.
hinge

Painting/varnish
This is possible depending on the specifications, such as painting that takes advantage of the wood grain or varnish that can be wiped with water.
